Job Description

We are seeking a proven, tactical and strategic Vice President of Sales to join the Relationship One team. As the head of Sales and Account Management, you will drive revenue growth as well as the growth of the Sales team. You will be responsible for the continued development of our sales approach and processes, forecast management, and overall health and well being of the sales organization. As a member of the management team, you will help set and guide the direction of the organization. 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience selling B2B consulting services and cloud-based products to upper-level and C-suite management in an individual contributor and management role, including 7+ years sales management experience
  • Experience selling into large strategic enterprise accounts
  • Experience selling marketing automation or CRM software 
  • Familiarity with solution/challenge selling models
  • Proven track record of consistently hitting established quotas
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales of multiple opportunities over the sales cycle
  • Familiar with Salesforce CRM and it’s related capabilities
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation software (e.g., Oracle Eloqua, Marketo) and/or other Oracle Marketing Cloud products preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness, motivation, initiative and a start-up mentality
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as an active member of the larger team
  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Business, Sales or Marketing
  • Located within the Minneapolis metro area (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand Relationship One’s products, services, differentiators and go-to-market strategies
  • Support direct reports by participating in and leading client/prospect meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required
  • Ongoing development of sales team, which includes recruiting, hiring and training new reps on our sales process
  • Conduct weekly forecast meetings and coach direct reports regarding strategies to drive closure
  • Report on sales activity and forecast to the rest of the management team
  • Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team, and tracks the results
  • Build/extend relationships with strategic business partners
  • Act as an executive sponsor for select/key customers
  • Review/approve all sales proposals and order agreements for accuracy and completeness
  • Enhance existing sales and CPQ processes and approaches
  • Coordinate with marketing on lead management and follow-up approach
